Native app vs. browser on postal
Our postal native app for Android includes offline caching of market schedules and table information, meaning you can browse upcoming games and tournaments even when your connection dips. Push notifications alert you to live markets and table availability without requiring the app to be open. The app's JavaScript engine is optimized for the lower-end Snapdragon processors common in Indonesian devices, so responsiveness remains consistent whether you are on a flagship or a mid-range phone. The browser experience on iOS or Android sacrifices some battery efficiency but eliminates installation friction and storage concerns—useful if you prefer not to allocate space for a dedicated app. We at postal recommend the native app for frequent users and the browser for occasional access.
Device compatibility on postal
We support Android 7.0 (API level 24) and higher, covering over ninety percent of active Android devices in Indonesia. iOS users need iOS 12 or later; Safari on iPad is fully supported. For the web app, any browser released after 2018 (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) will work. We at postal have tested our interface on devices with screen sizes from four inches up to large tablets. If you are using an older device or an unusual screen resolution, contact our support team via in-app chat and we can provide guidance on alternative access methods.
Common installation issues and solutions
If your Android phone blocks the APK download, you may see a warning about "Unknown sources." This is a standard Android security feature. Go to Settings › Apps & permissions › App permissions › Install unknown apps, find your browser, and toggle the permission on. After installing postal, you can disable this permission again. For iOS users, Safari may cache an older version of postal.bet; clear your browser cache (Settings › Safari › Clear History and Website Data) and refresh the page. If you see SSL certificate warnings, do not dismiss them lightly—contact our postal support team to verify you are visiting the correct domain. We maintain English and local-language support via in-app chat to help you troubleshoot any platform-specific issues.
Data, permissions, and account security on postal
Our postal app requests only the permissions it needs: internet access for live-dealer streaming and market data, notifications to alert you to upcoming tournaments and special markets during Idul Fitri and Idul Adha periods, and optional camera/microphone access if you choose to enable video verification during account setup. We do not request access to your contacts, calendar, or files. All communication between the postal app and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS 1.2 or later. Your password is hashed and salted on our backend; we never store it in plain text. Account recovery relies on your registered email address and a one-time verification code sent via SMS or email. If your phone is lost or stolen, you can contact our postal support team to lock your account pending device verification on a new device.
Payment integration within the postal app
Deposits on our postal app flow through trusted payment providers. When you select online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, or local payment, you are redirected to that app or browser for authentication—our postal platform never sees your payment credentials. Bank transfers via online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, or local payment are supported for larger deposits and follow a standard verification process that takes a few minutes to an hour depending on the bank. Our postal system matches your transfer against your account details and credits your balance once the match is confirmed. Withdrawals follow a similar path: you request a withdrawal to your registered payment method, and our postal team reviews the request against your account history and KYC documents. Response timelines vary, but most standard withdrawals are processed within one business day.
